Rival have always been extremely flexible in the production of the Glastonbury programme. It’s a live event so things change constantly and with over 2000 performers, it’s essential we get all of the detail correct which they always go out of their way to make sure happens.

Rival have managed my print requirements for many years and always exceed my expectations in terms of quality and service. A special mention for Gary who always goes out of his way to find a solution and deliver within my often tight timeframes. Could not recommend enough.
Internationally Renowned Children’s Book Illustrator
Really great service from Rival. I use them for scanning artwork and I particularly like that they collect and return the artwork. Really high quality colour matching in the scans too.

Lookalike, Bryan FerryOne of the highlights of being the managing director of Rival Colour is being able to employ people – offering others the opportunity to work for a great family business and become a part of our team. We really are one big family here at Rival because we all get on – we are mates. I also love getting out and about and interacting with people. When I’m not working you can find me competing on the golf course. Golf is a great passion of mine and I like to play at my local club. I also enjoy going to the gym to keep fit.
Lookalike, Joe WilkinsonI love the fact that I can meet, and help, a lot of different people in my job. I use desktop publishing programmes such as Indesign, QuarkXPress, and Photoshop to help prepare their designs for print and, ultimately, bring their ideas to life. I find working with artists particularly inspiring – being able to bring their creative vision to life is a real privilege for me. Outside of work, you are likely to find me catching a beautiful sunrise at the fishing lake where I like to angle for a carp or two. I also have a passion for live music and enjoy watching sport.
Lookalike, Cruella DevilleI’ve been part of the Rival Colour family since its early days and am proud to have worked for a printing company that has successfully weathered the various economic storms and continues to thrive. I love my job – particularly when I receive unprompted, positive feedback from our clients. When I’m not “crunching numbers,” I’m busily spending time with my three wonderful grandchildren. I also enjoy running and caring for and training the three horses that my husband and I own and enter into dressage competitions.
Lookalike, Fred FlintstoneI like to think of the printing and finishing room in which I work as being the noisy “engine” of Rival. Fellow print and finishing manager Gary and I do whatever is required to produce a finished product – from cutting out business cards to laminating and bookbinding. So, it’s all-encompassing and all systems go downstairs. When I’m not working in the “engine room” I enjoy playing golf, poker and – as a QPR supporter – watching football.
Lookalike, Charlie BrownWe are always busy here at Rival Colour. I joined the team in 1993 and, since then, every day has been different, and I get a great sense of achievement when I’ve successfully done what a client has asked me to do. We have a nice relationship with our customers. Outside of work, when I’m not looking after my two young children, I like to stay fit and healthy, and clear my mind, by going road cycling with my cycling club whenever I can. Its fair to say that I do quite a bit of cycling at the weekends!
Lookalike, Mr. IncredibleI love dealing with clients. Once fellow print and finishing manager Simon and I have helped to create the finished product, it’s always nice when customers comment on what a nice job we’ve done. I also love the camaraderie at Rival – most of us have been working together for some 25 years now so we are like a very close family. Outside of work, I love to watch live sport and – being a keen motorist – take my car out for a spin.
Lookalike, The Ant Hill Mob, ClydeEvery day is different at Rival Colour. I love going out and meeting new people and connecting with existing and potential customers – explaining to them the many services that we offer at Rival and being a point of contact between them and the rest of the team. When I’m not out and about for Rival, I enjoy catching a Tottenham Hotspur game or keeping fit by going for a run. I used to take part in cross country races at school and, since then, I’ve always done a bit of running and, most recently - in 2022, I ran The Vitality Big Half.
Lookalike, Roger MellieI’m really enjoying being in this sales role for Rival. I worked in print production for consumer and business titles for the best part of 30 years and so I have a lot of publishing expertise and therefore a genuine understanding of the lifecycle of print and our customers’ requirements as buyers. When I’m not busily building Rival’s customer relationships, you’ll find me supporting my local football team – Charlton Athletic. I am third generation supporter of this team and enjoy going to games when I can. I also enjoy a wide cross-section of music – from Motown through to music from the 80s and 90s.
Lookalike, Betty FlintstoneI’m proud to provide Rival Colour with a holistic perspective – ensuring that the Rival Team members have everything they need to be happy at work. From paper supplies to paperwork, I make sure that they have everything they need. Outside of work, I enjoy doing classes such as Pilates at my gym
